Strong start for boys’ hockey

The Boys’ XI made a great start to their National U18 Tier 1 League sitting in third place after three games played so far. The U16 Boys’ Indoor squad reached the Regional Final of the National U16 Indoor Hockey Cup. Finishing second in the Midlands was a fantastic effort considering a number of the team were playing indoor hockey for the first time.

And top player Seb Mortimer was selected as a goalkeeper for the England U16 Hockey squad after a year-long trials process. Seb was U15 when he was selected for the U16 national team – a brilliant achievement. He represented his country in games against Ulster and Scotland.
